This dreamy, fairytale wedding was inspired from the proposal which happened in front of the beautiful, iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland. Ivy and Alex have known each other for a long time so their wedding was a celebration of that love. Neither of them were nervous at all, they have been waiting for this special day! Ivy is so caring and thoughtful. I love all the little details she planned for her guests! Everything came together beautifully at their wedding venue, Villa Siena. Everywhere there was a great spot for photos, I was in heaven!
This locket has a photo of their pets that recently passed away :'( it was such a sweet way to remember them
Ivy looked absolutely stunning in her princess dress!
Alex looked really dapper too! I love the blue thistle floral accents.
This is always my favorite part! When the bride and groom see each other for the first time and get to soak it all in alone together.
Dad got a sneak peak too 🙂
These two have been best friends since they were 6! They both are so gorgeous!
Guests were serenaded by a harpist while being seated. Then the processional walked down the aisle to beautiful Disney songs on the harp.
Then we had a lovely dinner in this beautiful reception space with silver trees surrounded by flowers for centerpieces.
Ivy designed this amazing wedding monogram herself!
Nothing beats first dances as husband and wife.
I can usually keep it together for most of the day. I get teary eyed here and there. But this was a mantra between most of us girls there “Don’t cry, don’t cry”. The father daughter dance always gets me though. This one was extra special too since this is their only daughter.
The maid of honor’s speech might of made me teary eyed as well. It sure made the rest of the room tear up. “I am stronger because Ivy is strong, I am brave because Ivy is brave”
Such an elegant wedding cake! Raspberry and chocolate is my favorite!
The bouquet toss was for every single person there! It was quite the fight for it!
Then we danced the night away. I got in my cupid shuffle and just had to dance to Taki Taki. Ivy and Alex got the moves!
Ivy made these cute little hangover favors for everyone to take on the way out. “In sickness and in health”
Then Ivy was in her element looking so cool with her cat ears and metallic jacket as they walked through the sparkler exit! Congratulations you two! I had a blast and am so happy for you!!!
Thank you so much to the amazing wedding team that made this day extra special. Ivy did such a stellar job bringing us all together!
