It was the most beautiful drive up to Sedona with the flame colored leaves lining the highway. The wedding took place at the gorgeous little Bed and Breakfast, the Creekside Inn at Sedona. I arrived early to explore a little bit and was so thrilled to see the magical woods and creek behind the Inn. The property had an old-fashion charm with vines, vintage columns, arches everywhere, and a lovely gazebo. The reception was at Mesa Grill in Sedona. It was on top of a little mountain. I was sending my husband pictures the whole time because he is a pilot; we definitely need to go there for a date soon!
My favorite part of the day was the first look with the bride and groom before the ceremony. We had banished Mike outside while Sam finished getting her dress and jewelry on. We had him face away from Sam, and as she came through the doors, he heard them open and said “I haven’t been nervous all day, but now I am.” AWWWW. He even got a little emotional. It was so heart-warming to watch as she tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around to see is beautiful bride.

The wedding processional and ceremony

I love the sand ceremony especially when blending families with the symbolism of blending sand. It is impossible to divide the sand back to it’s original state.
I love that they wrote their own vows. It can be nerve-racking to say them in such an emotional time, but your own vows mean so much more than traditional vows. My husband and I had our own vows as well <3

It’s official!

Then we all drove up to the Mesa Grill at the Sedona Airport!

That view though! PS that is a cliff, the mountains are on the other side of a valley!

Cheers to you both! Let’s make this last forever 🙂
