I love the Castle Park wedding venue in Lindon Utah! Imagine getting married in an actual castle! Plus, the grounds are absolutely stunning with beautiful greenery, arbors, arches, and string lights everywhere. Brett and Amanda’s wedding was absolutely beautiful between the tuxes, tulle, and classic black and white theme with pops of blue…I was in photographer heaven.

Brett and Amanda have been engaged for years. Something always came up to post-pone the wedding, when they finally decided there is never going to be a perfect time. The best time is now.

Their wedding gave me a whole new perspective on the term “wedding bells ringing”. The officiant gifted Brett and Amanda an “Irish Makeup Bell” and had them both practice ringing it. More cowbell! The ringing is a reminder of their wedding vows. If arguments arise in the future, they can ring the bell to remind them of their wedding day promises.

I love that idea of reminders of our love. Our memories are so well-connected to our senses: Photos, sounds, scents can all instantly bring up feelings from when were taking the photo, hearing those sounds, or smelling that scent. May we always remember why we love each other <3
