I was lucky enough to capture this beautiful Northern California wedding for Stefanie and Tim. This was one of the sweetest ceremonies because so many loved ones were involved. Stefanie’s father officiated the ceremony with so much love and wisdom. He knew that marriage is a pearl of great price and these two will treasure it forever. There were so many stories throughout the day that confirmed these two were meant to be together. How Tim was meant to play his guitar at a certain church, which happened to be how Stefanie noticed him. How Tim’s mom knew after meeting Stefanie that she would become her daughter-in-law, in fact she bought a robe that said “bride” on it that week and saved it for Stefanie. How Tim asked Stefanie’s parents if he could date (and later he asked if he could marry) their daughter over Skype in her parents native language as they were in Columbia. But most of all, you will see in the photos below, how happy these two are to be together.
Dedicating the Bible for the new couple was such a sacred experience to witness. This couple loves each and loves God. They will do so much good in this world!
The air buzzed with excitement as the final touches were made for Stef’s and Tim’s wedding. The natural flowers covering the tables, the arch, and the vases filled with bridal bouquets filled the reception room. This Reserve at Spanos Park wedding in Stockton, California was absolutely stunning. I loved the navy blue, pink and rose gold wedding color palette accented by beautiful wood signs and a wood wedding arbor.
Stef and Tim had custom M&M’s made with their faces on them!
Stefanie was kept tucked away in the bridal sweet while finishing touches were being made. She is a beautiful bride, but also has a beautiful soul. I absolutely loved her big bridal braid. Her mermaid wedding gown fit her body perfectly too!
Meanwhile, down the hall the groomsmen finished up tying their bowties.
The Reserve at Spanos Park Stockton Wedding Venue, is part of a golf course. I had a blast driving the bride and groom in a golf cart! It was also extra hilarious when golfers would pass by while we were taking photos, like this guy who offered the groom a bite of his hot dog!
The bridal party is so stunning though! I love when the bridesmaids share one color palette but don’t have to wear the exact same dress.
The 2 little ring bearers were pulled down the aisle in this cute wagon decorated with flowers!
When the groom first sees his bride, always gets me!
Wedding photos at The Reserve at Spanos Park were a breeze! The beautiful water way behind the ceremony was a perfect backdrop. I also love all the giant, beautiful trees lining the pathways. And if you can’t tell, Tim really liked to carry his wife around 🙂
The reception was so much fun! They even gave me a seat at a table, like an actual guest haha I was so honored <3
Wedding Doughnuts, always a good idea, especially from Krispy Kreme!
One of my favorite parts was Stefanie’s sister’s story about giving her an orange growing up. Sarah wanted Stefanie to feel better so she gifted her an orange. Stefanie hates oranges, but accepted it anyway. To keep with tradition, Sarah gifted Stefanie and Tim an orange tree!
