filed under:

Wedding Venues

A complete guide to the Blue Sky mountain wedding venue in Park City, Utah. Last updated January 2026.

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection (Blue Sky for short by the locals) is one of the most sought-after mountain wedding venues out there. Voted #1 resort in Utah and #15 Resort in the whole US byTravel & Leisure in 2025, this resort is your luxurious mountain getaway.

Five-star resort set on 3,500 private acres just outside Park City, Blue Sky is known for quiet luxury, sweeping mountain views, and an experience that feels more like a secluded retreat than a traditional wedding weekend.

The Lodge at Blue Sky refers to just the lodging entity, while Blue Sky Ranch refers to the entire property, the expansive 3500 acres of wilderness and outdoor facilities.

Why Couples Choose The Lodge at Blue Sky for their Wedding

This is a venue for couples who love the outdoors, amazing views, and privacy.

You’ll be able to host an immersive, elegant Americana experience completely secluded from the outside world. The resort is designed with modern, minimal touches that blend in with the scenery.

The Lodge at Blue Sky is deeply committed to land stewardship and sustainability. They prioritize conservation, ethical sourcing, and responsible land use. This makes it an especially meaningful choice for couples who care about their impact and want their wedding to reflect their values.

As a Leave No Trace photographer, this alignment matters to me and to many of my couples.

Ceremony and Reception Venues at Blue Sky

Blue Sky Venue Fees

Please note, that a wedding planner is required for Blue Sky (and most Park City, Utah wedding venues). It is in your best interest to hire your planner first, as they can guide you through the best venue options for your wedding based on your desires.

2025 Venue Brochure

This is from the 2025 venue information packet sent from Blue Sky to a bride. They do offer discounts for weekday weddings and winter weddings. While winter weddings can be a cozy, magical experience, snowstorms can have a negative impact on your guests’ experience and travel. Plus there is much less available to do than in the summer.

Blue Sky Wedding Budget

Blue Sky is one of the most expensive, luxury options for your wedding day. Expect around $1,000-$1,500 per guest minimum. This is an amazing place to elope, host a micro-wedding, but you can host events up to 300 people if desired, though there is not enough lodging on site for that many guests.

Wedding Guest Experience at Blue Sky

Your guests will be blown away as they are whisked up mountain switchbacks to get to the secluded Lodge at Blue Sky venue. They will be surrounded by mountains on thousands of acres of untamed, beautiful land. This will be a wedding to remember!

You can host a small weekend getaway with your loved ones with plenty of immersive and unique activities from hiking, skeet shooting, equestrian activities, fine dining, barbeque, helicopter tour, and so much more. The Lodge includes many amenities, including a swimming pool and world-class spa.

Honeymoon at The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Collection

Many of my wedding couples honeymoon at The Lodge at Blue Sky after getting married somewhere else in Utah, especially those that elope at The Bonneville Salt Flats. Vogue named it the Best Winter Honeymoon destination due to it’s world class skiing nearby and beautiful, secluded scenery with top-notch service.

The “rooms”, actually most rooms are their own lodges or suites – are spacious and luxurious with incredible views. You can relax together with spa treatments, western experiences, a babbling brook outside your patio door, and so many more things to do on the property.
