What better place to have a wine ceremony, than at a winery! Wine and craft beer lovers, Brittany and Marshall picked the perfect place for their special day. The Windmill Winery is in Florence, Arizona is an awesome semi-destination wedding for those living in the Phoenix valley. It is a beautiful space for a rustic chic wedding and especially great for wine lovers. During their vows, Brittany and Marshall poured a bitter wine and a sweet wine into one glass; representing the fact that they will both drink from the same cup, for better or for worse. Never to be separated again.
I loved that the officiant brought up that Jesus Christ’s first miracle took place at a wedding. He turned water into wine to celebrate marriage and save the best for enduring guests.
Beautiful purple hues throughout all the details made the wedding so elegant! I love that all the floral arrangements had purple kale! A healthy, edible bridal bouquet, I love it!
Brittany’s wedding day started with a beautiful note from her soon to be husband. As well as a very special necklace that her mom surprised her with. The necklace is made from her mom’s diamond engagement ring and her great grandmother’s diamonds.
The girls had to celebrate with a confetti popper. Those things need better instructions, it took us awhile to pop it. Once it popped, it was epic though!
The bridesmaids all had matching bracelets! They had the cutest reaction to seeing Brittany in her wedding gown.
The groomsmen celebrated with custom socks speckled with their spouse’s faces on them. And of course, Marshall’s favorite beer!
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful at the winery. I loved how each person involved was so loving and truly cared about Brittany and Marshall. The flower girls threw fresh lavender before the bride walked down the aisle. Which not only looks so beautiful, but was a great, calming aroma.
The Windmill Winery’s beer burro was a big hit at cocktail hour!
This beautiful bridal party was so much fun to pose, it was like choreographing a dance routine to get this walk.
The Windmill Winery had so many beautiful spots for wedding photos, it was hard to pick out just a few so the bride and groom could get back to their party! We absolutely had to have photos with the vintage car and in the orchard since they love wine!
Reception time in the Windmill Winery Barn!
I love that for the guest place cards, Brittany and Marshall named all the favorite places they have been together for each table. Then at that table, they had photographs of themselves in that place!
The sweetest part of the reception was when Brittany got up to give her maid of honor a hug during her speech. I’m not crying, you are.
Officially Mr. and Mrs. DeGroot! With a fun bubble send off, they made their getaway!
