Welcome to The Soft Wedding Edit
If you’ve been following along here for a while, you already know that the way I approach wedding photography is a little different. It has always been about the feeling of a day more than a performance. So when I decided to start a podcast, there was really only one direction it could go.

The Soft Wedding Podcast is officially live on Spotify, and I could not be more excited to finally have a place to talk about all of this properly and share wisdom from recently married couples and wedding vendors on how to have a truly amazing wedding.
What is a Soft Wedding?
Episode one starts at the very beginning — what a soft wedding actually means, and why it matters more than most couples realize when they start planning. A soft wedding is not a small wedding, a cheap wedding, or a minimalist wedding. It is a wedding built around ease. Around intention. Around letting the day be exactly what you want it to be instead of what you feel like it has to be. Zero chaos. Zero stress. Just the two of you, the people you love most, and a day that actually feels good to live through — not just good to look back on.
But the conversation goes beyond weddings. Episode one also covers soft business and soft life — the idea that the way you plan your wedding day is often a reflection of the way you approach everything else. That permission to let things be easy, to release the pressure of doing it the way everyone else did it, applies just as much to how you run a business or move through your daily life as it does to your ceremony decor. It is a philosophy, not just an aesthetic — and it is one I have been quietly living by for years without having the words for it until now.
What to expect from the show
Every episode of The Soft Wedding Edit will focus on how to choose your joy in your wedding, your busienss, and your life. My solo episodes will be about 15-20 minutes. Interviews with real couples and wedding vendors will be around 45-60 minutes.
Follow the podcast on Spotify by clicking here— and new episodes drop every Wednesday.
If this resonates with you, I would love for you to subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs to hear that their wedding — and their life — is allowed to feel soft. How have you used this mindset in your life?
