Mesa Arizona Desert Wedding Photos – Brittany and Mark

Brittany and Mark are one of the sweetest couples. Their wedding was filled with lots meaningful touches like custom decor that they made themselves and family heirlooms. Brittany said one of her favorite things about wedding planning was that “I made all of the wedding plans WITH my groom. We talked about EVERY detail. He gave me input. We chose details together. We made all of the crafts together. I valued his input so much and this is his day too!”.

I love that they planned this special day together. They grew the cactus, salvaged dead cactus, made the lawn games, made their own table seating sign, and so much more – together. Cactus hid throughout all the pretty little details at this desert wedding. I was head over heels for this cactus bridal bouquet! It includes 3 different types of cactus, beautiful spring colors, and the biggest ronnoculous I’ve ever seen!

How cute is this seating chart to share all of their adventures with their guests. They even made home-made prickly pear jam for all their guests.

I especially loved their cowboy and cowgirl boots!

There couldn’t have been a more perfect day to get married. Rain had showered the desert all week so everything was blooming. These Las Sendas Vistas Pavilion wedding photos turned out so lovely!

This gold piece is from her grandfather’s uniform.

The bride and groom exchanged gifts separately. I loved the custom boxers “Property of Mrs. DeVries”!

Then Brittany was able to do a first look with her dad before the wedding.

Their bride and groom first look before the ceremony was especially cute because everyone was hiding around the corner watching. It was the sweetest thing to watch Brittany hold Mark like she was never going to let him go. He wasn’t crying…he said he was cutting onions for the dinner later.

This sweet little flower girl, I loved her because she loves the camera! Always smiling that one <3 Her flower petal basket was custom made out of dead cacti.

Husband and wife portraits were a blast! So many beautiful spots at Las Sendas Vistas Pavillion! Behind the ceremony site was Red Mountain. Then we were also able to find a large dead saguaro, some desert patches, and tons of yellow wildflowers. This was a dream come true after being together for about 8 years. It was about time!

As we raced back to the reception in our golf carts, I was so stoked for all the dancing to come. I knew these two loved dancing, but not this much! I don’t think they sat down (besides to eat dinner) the entire reception. It was so awesome!

There were also a lot of fun surprises like Brittany dedicated a dance to her momma. Brittany said “My mom & I love Wynonna. Ever since I can remember, I knew I would dance with my mom to this song at my wedding. Seriously, I planned this song when I was like 7!” Her mom also picked out her wedding dress. “I went dress shopping with just my mom & me. My mom actually picked out my wedding dress. I wouldn’t have tried it on otherwise! It ended up being BEYOND perfect. It means a lot to me knowing we had that special time together and she picked my dress. ”

Plus, her momma even knew from the moment she met Mark, that he was the one for Brittany.

Then the bride and groom were sent off with a fun neon glow stick wedding exit.

Thank you so much for letting me capture your day Brittany and Mark. I am so happy for you two! This was definitely a wedding to remember! From all the custom details to a non-stop dance party reception, I had a blast!
