The Salt River in Mesa, Arizona is one of the most beautiful places in the desert. Salt River tubing is so much fun and a great way to cool off in the summer. I love to visit in the Spring after the wild horses have their babies. It is absolutely magical to see those beautiful animals in the wild.

Sam and Justin originally reached out to me about photographing their elopement at a courthouse. I am so glad they ended up choosing to elope at the Salt River! They got married at the mouth of the river, not far from where they had their first date at the lake so this spot was extra meaningful. Way more special than the courthouse!

Salt River Elopement Photos

With just a few of their loved ones to witness their union, Sam and Justin got married in front of the beautiful Salt River. Their friend officiated and led their sand unity ceremony. Then they celebrated with some bubbly (champagne and bubbles!). Double bubbly 🙂
