I left extra early for this little road trip North to Chino Valley with a Jamba Juice Smoothie in hand, I was ready to escape the heat in Mesa…Only to come to a long stop, then inching along like a caterpillar on I-17. I don’t think I have ever driven North on that highway without some sort of traffic. I was super nervous about being late to the wedding…but everybody was in the same boat as us so it all worked out! We ended up getting there right on time with all the action. I loved exploring the beautiful property at the Windmill House. The weather was the pinnacle of “strolling outside” weather. Birds were chirping…well actually there was an owl. A giant one. It was so cool to see it spread its massive wings to fly across the pond.
