Excited whispers were filling up the hallway outside the temple doors as we waited for Christina and Cole to come out. The temple workers hit the automatic door button, so the gold and glass doors slowly opened at the same time. The first thing I could see what the biggest smile on Christina’s face and Cole looking lovingly at her. I could just feel the pure joy emanating from this newly sealed couple. Then they turned the corner and all of their closest family and friends were there smiling back at them. This is what marriage is all about. Coming together in joy!
The day started at Cole’s aunt’s house; Jen had transformed her kitchen into the most beautiful bridal suite. What a beautiful place to get ready with your bridesmaids!
I photographed the details outside under a beautiful gazebo. I loved the mismatched bridemaid’s dresses and Christina’s rose gold ring. The luscious bouquets from Hillside Florals fit in perfectly with Christina and Cole’s vision for a tropical and elegant wedding.
Christina’s father was there in spirit. He was honored with a photo locket tied onto her bouquet. It was such a sweet way to remember him and keep him with her on this special day. One of her best friend’s also got a locket on the bridesmaids bouquet so she could be remembered as well.
Christina and Cole were sealed in the Draper, Temple. They are an exemplary couple, you can see them radiating light. Both of them are so kind and happy.
I am not sure if this is a Utah thing, but we always throw the groom (or bride) up in the air here haha. Cole hit the tree!
I just love the Leis from Lei Away Ladies!
After some bride and groom portraits at the temple, it was off to Le Jardin for their ring ceremony and reception. They chose this venue because it reminded Christina of the islands because it is so lush and green!
Her sister made this beautiful wedding cake! It was pretty yummy!!!
Their first dance as husband and wife, Cole is a pro dipper!
Then this was a really sweet and tender moment. Cole danced with his mother, then towards the end of the song, Cole and his mom went and got a new partner to bring out to the dance floor. Then another new partner and so on until almost everyone was dancing together.
Gotta toss that bouquet! Her maid of honor caught it and is actually getting married in February. How cool is that these best friends (their husbands are best friends too) are getting married so close together!
Then we had the longest sparkler exit I have ever done, it was AWESOME. They walked through slowly and everyone had plenty of sparkler left so then they went back and ran through it and did some dips 🙂
Christina and Cole, ya’ll are amazing and deserve the most happiness! Thank you for letting me be there with you on your wedding day! Everything was beautiful and I had a ton of fun. I loved getting down to the macarena haha 🙂 Thanks to Ashley Flashy’s Photos for second shooting with me and getting this cute shot of me workin it.
The amazing creative team!
