“Some people think that marriage is 50/50. We both try to give 60% everyday. A little competition to see who can serve the other more. We both win.” Kennedy vowed to Sam with glistening, joyful tears in her eyes.

I started the day by walking through gates to a lush forest hideaway for this Holladay, Utah Wedding. I love that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints members can now get civilly married and sealed on the same day. Ring ceremonies are lovely, but exchanging personal vows is so special; Including all loved ones as witnesses and having a personalized, beautiful ceremony. It is an extra sweet way to celebrate an already amazing day.

Kennedy ‘s sister actually helped Sam setup the proposal, but she is now out serving a mission. Video chatting with her sister before the ceremony made it all real!

Then the beautiful processional began.

I loved that the ceremony started with a live performance of “A Love that Will Last”. Which perfectly set the mood for Sam and Kennedy to start their eternal marriage.

Sam and Kennedy were full of pure joy walking away as husband and wife!

Salt Lake City Temple Wedding Photos
Sam and Kennedy’s Salt Lake City Temple wedding photos turned out amazing! I am so grateful that I got to photograph them there. That is where I got my endowments! I am so sad that it will be closed for so long for renovations soon. The grounds were busy, but still so sacred. I could see the glow on the faces of these two radiant souls after they were sealed together eternity.

The amazing Holladay reception was a real party! From Fajitas and guac to a happening dance floor, everyone had a great time! I especially loved watching Sam boogie with his mom 🙂 and Kennedy’s carboard cutout of her sister missionary go crowd surfing!

I now think every wedding should have a hammock somewhere haha
Throwing the bouquet!

I loved that we got the bride’s sister out on the dance floor!

The night ended with a fun sparkler exit!

Thank you so much for letting me be your wedding photographer! Everything was abslutely beautiful and everyone was so kind 🙂 I wish you the most happiness in your marriage Sam and Kennedy!
